GCA action continues this weekend

The Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) continues with a series of 1st and 2nd division round of matches in the respective by Noble House Seafoods and the New Building Society (NBS) competitions, set to bowl off on Saturday October 7.
In the Noble House Seafood 2nd Division 2-Day tourney; GNIC will tackle Police at Eve Leary Ground while University of Guyana (UG) battle Malteenoes at the DCC

Everest’s Javed Rasheed will be in action this weekend

ground which will also house the encounter between Transport Sports Club (TSC) and the home team. Finally, at home, Everest will tackle Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) with matches scheduled to begin at 10:30h.
On Saturday, the NBS 40 overs 2nd Division will see Diplomats playing Guyana Defense Force (GDF) at Gandhi Ground. Gandhi will then duke it out with Sophia at GYO ground while on Sunday Ace Warriors and GDF play at GDF ground followed by Sophia who come up against Third Class at GYO ground.
