GCA cricket fixtures continue

Matches organised by the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will continue this weekend with some crucial fixtures.

On Saturday, the highly anticipated GISE/ Star Party Rentals/Trophy Stall second division 40-over semifinal between University of Guyana (UG) Trojans and the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will be played at the DCC ground in Queenstown, Georgetown commencing at 10:30 hrs. The final is scheduled for October 6, at the same venue.
Another highly anticipated match in the first division two-day semifinal between Police and GNIC will be played on Saturday at the Police ground at Eve Leary Ground from 9:30 hrs.
Also, on Saturday, the Friends of Cricket Under-17 Hundred Overs’ Tournament contested between the Guyana Cricket Club (GCC) and Bel Air Rubis will be played at the GCC ground beginning at 9:30 hrs.
And on Sunday, September 30, Everest Cricket Club will clash with Transport Sports Club at the Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) Ground, and the DCC will come up against the Malteenoes Cricket Club at the DCC ground. Both matches are scheduled to start at 9:30 hrs.
There will be no V-Net Under-13 matches this weekend.
