The highly-anticipated GISE/Star Party Rentals/Trophy Stall First Division (2-Day) Cricket Competition finals will be underway on Saturday and Sunday, as Police SC will face off against the in-form Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) at Eve Leary Ground. The action is scheduled to begin at 09:00h.
The Noble House Seafoods two-day Second Division tournament will resume on Saturday and Sunday as well, as the UG Trojans will want to consider themselves possible contenders for the title as they go up against GNIC at Queenstown. The tourney starts on both days from 10:30h.
The New Building Society (NBS) Second Division 40-Over 2018/2019 season will continue on Saturday as Ace Warriors CC will thrash it out against the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) at Camp Ayanganna, while in the other match at Gandhi Youth Ground, the Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) will be searching for a win against Everest CC as they had lost by 167 runs against the UG Trojans last weekend. The action is scheduled to begin at 10:30h.
On Sunday, the tournament will then continue as a triple header is set to commence with the GDF facing off against Transport SC at Camp Ayanganna, Malteenoes SC seeing off Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) at GYO and the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) battling the depleted Sophia CC who were thrashed by Transport Club last weekend. The action is set to commence at 10:30h at Bourda Cricket Ground.
The Friends of Cricket Under-17 hundred-over tournament continues on Saturday and Sunday as well, with MYO colliding with Malteenoes SC at MYO and GCC battling Transport SC at Bourda Cricket Ground on Saturday as both matches are scheduled to start at 09:30h promptly. The Sunday edition of the tournament will see ECO Champs clashing with Everest CC at the GNIC Ground. The action is set to begin at 09:30h.
