GCA cricket fixtures continue

Matches organised by the Georgetown Cricket Association (GCA) will continue today and tomorrow.
The GCA/Friends of Cricket Under-17 (100-Over) Cricket Competition continues today with a double header in which Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) take on Everest Cricket Club at the Bourda Cricket Ground. Everest remain at the bottom of the table, and will be faced with an uphill task as they must defeat GCC if they want to add substantive points to their tally.
In the other fixture, Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will duke it out with Bel Air Rubis CC at Queenstown, Georgetown. Both matches are scheduled to commence promptly at 09:30h. The New Building Society (NBS) Second Division 40-Over 2018/2019 season will continue today and tomorrow with several matches across Georgetown.
Today will see a double header as the highly anticipated matchup between GDF and Police SC take place at Camp Ayanganna (GDF). The soldiers are currently ranked third in Zone B, while Police are in fifth. Both teams will be looking to advance in the league.
In the other fixture, Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) will attempt to make light work of GNIC, who are currently at the bottom of the table. All matches will commence at 10:30h.
The action will then continue on Sunday with five matches across Georgetown. Muslim Youth Organisation (MYO) will do battle with the Gandhi Youth Organisation (GYO) at the MYO ground. The second-placed GYO will be hoping to defeat table toppers MYO. Meanwhile, Everest CC will take on Malteenoes SC at Camp Road, while the UG Trojans will attempt to break the curse as they face off against the mighty DCC at Queenstown. The last two fixtures will see Third Class CC take on the out of form Sophia CC at GYO, while GCC will trash it out with Police SC at the GCC Ground. All fixtures will commence at 10:30h.
