As the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) continues its 75th anniversary celebrations, the Board recently catered to the less fortunate.
On Friday last, members of the GCB visited parts of the city as they conducted a mini-feeding drive which saw a number of poor, homeless and in need persons being given meals. The 75th anniversary celebration activities bowled off with the launching of the grand raffle which is scheduled to be drawn on November 18, during the last match of the ICC Women’s World T20 Cup in Guyana.
The mini-feeding drive was followed by the prayer breakfast activity held at the GCC Members Pavilion. Meanwhile, several other activities being planned to be held throughout the remainder of this year will be announced in the future.
Meanwhile, there will be another special consolation drawing on July 25 during the Bangladesh ODI.
