GCB to encamp 14 females ahead of regional tournament

The Female Senior Team will be encamped at the Chetram Singh Center of Excellence Hostel at LBI from Sunday. They will engage in a number of preparatory exercises ahead of the Cricket West Indies Women’s Regional T20 and 50 over tournaments which are slated to take place in Jamaica from Thursday June 7-25.
Fourteen players have been selected, and six are on standby. The team Manager is Carol Nurse, and the Coach is Bharat Mangru.

The fourteen players are: Shemaine Campbell (Captain), Sheneta Grimmond, Mandy Mangru, Shabika Gajnabi, Lashuna Toussaint, Melanie Henry, Tremayne Smartt, Cherry-Ann Fraser, Erva Giddings, Kaysia Shultz, Subrina Munroe, Akaze Thompson, Plaffiana Millington and Katana Mentore. The above players are asked to report to the Hostel on the above mentioned date from 16:00h.
The standby players are: Heema Singh, Shenika Campbell, Latoya Smith, Dian Prahalad, Althea Newark and Casey Charles.
