The Under-13 tournament involving 25-overs-a-side sponsored by Well Teen/TrophyStall/Tropical Springs/Nauth Motor Spares saw Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC), Rose Hall and Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) emerging winners following last weekend’s round.
Played at the DCC ground, Queenstown, GCC beat Gandhi Youth Organization (GYO) by 107 runs, after posting 168-8, thanks to MVP Rahul Singh’s 45, Rivaldo Phillips’s 27, and Mitra Dhanraj’s 12. Dilshan Ramnarine claimed 3-33 and Anthony Dhanraj 2-23, bowling for GYO; who were then knocked over for 61 in 17 overs, after Yohance Angoy took 3 wickets for 9 runs, Sanjay Persaud 2 for 8 runs, and Aryan Persaud 2 for 15 runs. 
Rose Hall, batting first, made 147-9 versus Everest, thanks to knocks from Surendra Kamcharan (24); Jermey Sandia (20) and Shaeam Khan (12). Extras conceded totalled 52 runs, as man-of-the-match Raynaldo Mohamed claimed 3 for 23, supported by Antonio Daconeicao with 2 for 35. Everest were kept to 64 in 14 overs in response, thanks to two wickets apiece from Christopher De Roop, Mathew Protoya, Sandia and Wayne Williams.
Rose Hall were skittled out for 34 in 9.3 overs, after batting first against the home team DCC, led by spinner Romeo Deonarain, who cleaned up the batting order with figures of 5 for 9 to take the man-of-the-match award. Jason Holder, 2 for 5, and Daniel Mootoo 2 for 10, lent support to Deonarain as DCC in reply cruised to 35-1 in 8.2 overs.
GCC lead the standings with 81 points from five games, followed by DCC with 70 points from five games, followed by TSC with 57 from five; GYO with 51 from five; Rose Hall with 36 from four; Blairmont with 27 from two, and Everest on 21 from four.
