The Georgetown Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) says it is often asked by businesses “Why is it important to become a member of the GCCI?”
The answer is, you will have instant Chamber credibility, which is an effective business strategy overall; effective for communicating to consumers that your company uses good business practices and for communicating that your business is reputable, a release from the Chamber’s Membership Officer Wayne Seecharan informed. If your company shows that it is highly involved in the Chamber, established in 1889, consumers are more likely to think that its products stack up better against your competition.
Furthermore, as a member you will have invaluable opportunities to network with other businesses which will allow you to meet with other business leaders, recruit new customers, and establish your desire to help create a prosperous business community.
Seecharan added that the investment through the GCCI will leave you with no regret, so be part of Guyana’s oldest and most recognisable business network: It will open up your business to a plethora of options.
