GDF executes emergency medevac from Region 1

The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) on Sunday conducted a medical evacuation (medevac) mission from Region One (Barima-Waini), following an urgent request from the Health Ministry.
In a social media post, the GDF said that a 21-year-old male who sustained critical injuries in a boat mishap, was initially stabilised at the Kumaka District Hospital. However, due to the rapid deterioration of his condition, immediate advanced medical intervention was required.
