GDF hoping to extend lead

Defending Champions, Guyana Defence Force will look to keep their current position as League leaders when they host Buxton United Football Club on Sunday at the Camp Ayanganna Ground.
They contest the feature match at 19:30 hrs while Den Amstel takes on Victoria Kings in the curtain raiser at 17:30 hrs.
Newcomers Den Amstel will hope to continue their good show as they meet a rampant Victoria Kings side would not allow them an overtaking in the points standing.
Meanwhile, GDF cannot afford any slip ups as they move to retain their title while Buxton United comes into the match seeking to improve their position at the middle of the table.
On Friday, the league entered its eighth week at the Georgetown Football Club Ground, Bourda, where NA United FC and Milerock were scheduled to battle Western Tigers and Fruta Conquerors, respectively.
Admission to all matches is $500 but all children under 12 years of age and women will be admitted free.
