Pele FC were yet to outright lose an encounter, after winning their first and drawing their second game in the fourth edition of the Limacol tournament. On the other hand, their rivals on Monday night, Police B, were yet to gain some points after two losses upfront.
In a bid to secure a consolation win in the competition, the law officers were the first to celebrate a goal in the 10th minute coming off the boots of Terrence Shepherd. However, their joy was short-lived as George got into his groove.

Mahaica Determinators knew their battle with Dynamic FC was a crucial one

After getting a feel for the opponents’ defence, George began his onslaught early with a goal in the 12th minute. The teenager found the back of the net twice more in the 31st and 41st minutes respectively to complete his hat-trick by half-time.
However, the youngster was not done scoring just yet. George found the back of the net again in the 69th minute to push the score to 4-1 and with his teammate scoring in the 88th, Pele enjoyed a 5-1 victory to move to the top of Group D.
Also in that Group, Mahaica Determinators bagged their second win to oust former front-runners Dynamic FC. Eion Abel was the man with the golden boot for Mahaica, as he netted a brace for their victory. Abel found the back of the net in the 20th and the 65th minutes to put his team in a comfortable position to advance to the quarter-finals.
