Home Sports Georgetown Cricket continues this weekend
Given the pristine weather for cricket in city over the last couple of weeks, the Georgetown Cricket Association has managed to restart their respective tournaments which will continue Saturday and Sunday.
In the GISE/Star Party Rental First Division 2-day Competition, Transport Sports Club (TSC) will battle home side Guyana Defence Force (GDF) under the watchful eyes of umpires Andre Hurry and Cyril Garnath.
Over at the Maltenoes Sports Club (MSC), University of Guyana will battle Ghandi Youth Organisation (GYO) with Ravishwar Latif and Hortence Isaacs doing the on-field duties. Both matches are slated to be played from 09:30 hrs to 17:30 hrs.
In the Noble House Seafood Second Division 2- Days competition, Demerara Cricket Club will host Diplomats and Everest Cricket Club travel to GYO.
Umpires Joseph Jeffrey and Flemroy Lambert will officiate at DCC while Abena Parker and Linden Matthews take up the duties at GYO. Playing hours are 10:30 hrs to 17:00 hrs.
