Georgetown edition kicks off April 15 with 32 teams at Cultural Centre Tarmac – Guinness “Greatest of the Streets”

The stage is set for the Georgetown leg of the Guinness “Greatest of the Streets” tournament, with 32 teams confirmed for the direct elimination competition, which will be played at the National Cultural Centre Tarmac from April 15 to May 1.
The Georgetown edition will close off the 2025 season before attention shifts to the national playoffs, with the 2026 season set to follow. Defending champions Laing Avenue headline the field and will be among the teams aiming to navigate the six-day tournament.

The competition will be contested across six match days: April 15, 17, 23, 24, 29 and May 1, with the opening two days dedicated to the Round of 32.
On the opening night, Wednesday, April 15, eight matches are scheduled. Alexander Village face Island All-Stars at 19:00h, followed by Bent Street A against Rising Stars at 19:30h. Make It Happen oppose East Coast All-Stars at 20:00h, while Team Immaculate take on California Square at 20:30h. Festival City meet Sophia All-Stars at 21:00h, Broad Street clash with Team Spirit at 21:30h, Gold Is Money tackle Stevedore at 22:00h, and Sparta Boss oppose East Bank Ballers at 22:30h.
The Round of 32 continues on Friday, April 17, with another eight fixtures. Bent Street B play Unity Ballers at 19:00h, followed by Corinthians against Team Cruel at 19:30h. Defending champions Laing Avenue open their campaign against Gaza Squad at 20:00h, while North Ruimveldt meet Z-Tekk at 20:30h. Albouystown face Young Stars at 21:00h, North East La Penitence take on K-Town All-Stars at 21:30h, Leopold battle Kingston at 22:00h, and National All-Stars oppose Team Madrid at 22:30h.
The Round of 16 is set for April 23, followed by the quarter-finals on April 24, where both the championship and Guinness Plate segments will be contested. Teams eliminated at the Round of 16 and quarter-final stages will be required to participate in the Plate competition or face a three-year suspension.
The semi-finals are scheduled for April 29, before the tournament concludes on May 1 with the Plate final, third-place playoff, and championship final.
The 32 participating teams are Alexander Village, Island All-Stars, Bent Street A, Rising Stars, Make It Happen, East Coast All-Stars, Team Immaculate, California Square, Festival City, Sophia All-Stars, Broad Street, Team Spirit, Gold Is Money, Stevedore, Sparta Boss, East Bank Ballers, Bent Street B, Unity Ballers, Corinthians, Team Cruel, Gaza Squad, Laing Avenue, North Ruimveldt, Z-Tekk, Albouystown, Young Stars, North East La Penitence, K-Town All-Stars, Leopold, Kingston, National All-Stars and Team Madrid.
