GFA leads the list

A total of 73 transfers was facilitated during the pre-season transfer period, including 11 by the Guyana Football Federation (GFF). The transfer period ended on July 31 with all 73 of them seeking transfers to Elite Clubs.
During the period, the highest number of transfers was recorded by the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) with 30 transfers; followed by the Berbice Football Association with 15; Upper Demerara Football Association with 9; West Demerara Football Association with 4; East Demerara Football Association with 2, and one each by the East Bank Football Association and the Rupununi Football Association respectively.
Fruta Conquerors Football Club received the highest number of transfers, with 12 players; followed by Milerock FC with 11; Cougars with 10; Western Tigers FC and New Amsterdam FC with eight players each; Den Amstel FC with 07; Ann’s Grove United FC with 05; Victoria Kings with 04; Buxton United FC and GDF FC with three players each; and Campton FC and GFC with one player each respectively.
The next transfer window is scheduled to last from January 1 – 31, 2019.
