GFF/Blue Water Female U-15 Tournament: Empress, Charlestown Super Strikers & Chase Academy take full points

When competition in the GFF/Blue Water Female U-15 Tournament organised by the Guyana National Women’s Football Association (GNWFA) continued on Saturday last at the GFF National Training Centre at Providence, EBD, there were wins for Empress, Charlestown Strikers and Chase Academy.

Empress, originating from the East Ruimveldt Secondary School, defeated Tutorial High 4-1 on account of a double strike off the boot of Dellanna Scott and one each from Azonia Wilson and Fayon Harr. Tutorial’s consolation goal was scored by Jada Mason.
Charlestown Super Strikers, led by a brace from Akeelah Vancooten, won by a similar 4-1 margin against Tutorial Thunders. Nelisa Bristol was also on target with the other being an own goal. Scoring the lone goal for Tutorial Thunders was Afrika Blackman.
Chase Academy, through a Murta Chance hat-trick, trumped Campbellville United’s lone strike from Ronella Alexander to bag all three points via a 3-1 win.
