GFF Women’s Development League: Fruta Conquerors cage Foxy Ladies
When play in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Women’s Development League continued on Thursday night at the Leonora Track and Field Facility on the West Coast of Demerara, the home team, Foxy Ladies, were out-hustled 0-14 by the visiting Fruta Conquerors.

The Tucville-based Conquerors were too hot to handle, this being their third match of the league while the home team were playing their first of the season. Momentum was certainly on the side of the Conquerors, and they walked away with full points, being catapulted into the top spot with 9 points, made up of two wins and a loss.
Leading the way for Fruta Conquerors, Nikita Wayne blasted the network seven (7) times, and Sandra Johnson was on target five (5) times, while one goal each was contributed by Shania Thornhill and Angelino Pierre. Fruta Conquerors were leading 9-0 at the halfway mark.
The competition is set to continue today, and on Monday which is a holiday. Following are the fixtures.
