GGMC wins domino tournament and trip to Kaieteur

The curtains came down on the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) Inter- Agency domino with the finals played Friday last in Georgetown.
Played in the crowded compound of the Guyana Geology & Mines Commission (GGMC), the home team GGMC) was able to feed off their support to secure their way to the winning trophy and a trip to the mighty Kaieteur.
GGMC’s Roshauna Williams shared the only “love” while her colleague and teammate G. Daniels was declared the best player after securing the maximum of 18 games.

The Guyana Forestry Commission (GFC) took the 2nd place trophy and a trip to Lethem while the Guyana Lands & Survey Commission (GL&SC) won the dinner at Cara Lodge prize along with the 3rd place trophy. The Guyana Gold Board (GGB) was also recognized for being the best uniformed team.
Minister of Natural Resources and Environment, Mr. Raphael Trotman was present to assist with the presentation of prizes including trophies and medals.
The competition which began on April 13 saw participation from the other agencies within the (MNRE) including the National Parks Commission (NPC), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF)
