GMR&SC Endurance race on today at South Dakota

The Guyana Motor Racing & Sports Club (GMR&SC) will host its second Endurance Race meet of the year today at the South Dakota Circuit, Timehri.
The meet which is fast becoming an extreme fascination to Guyanese motor sports fans, will test the racers stamina, deftness and consistency.

For those who may not privy to the aspect of Motor racing, endurance racing is the form of motorsport racing which is meant to test the durability of equipment and endurance of participants. Teams of multiple drivers attempt to cover a large distance in a single event, with participants given a break with the ability to change during the race.
The likes of Brian Ten-Pow and Shawn Seejattan have shown that they are a formidable pair, but the pair of Shiraz and Shahab Roshandin along with Anand Ramchand and Adrian Fernandes are all experienced and formidable drivers.
At the last meet in February, the two-hour endurance saw the pair of Rameez Mohammed / Anand Ramchand placing first, while Fazil Yunas / Kenneth Ranbir were second with Shawn Bacchus / Ramana Lalchan were third.
