GMRSC’s 2019 season commences in February

After yet another successful year which saw the SR3 Radical Cup make its maiden run at the South Dakota Circuit, the Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club (GMRSC) are about to shift into gear for their 2019 season.
First up on the calendar of events is round one of the Endurance Series, which is slated for February 3, followed by the commencement rounds for the Drag and Circuit Racing on February 17 and March 3 respectively.
After that, team Guyana wings out to Trinidad and Tobago, where they will commence yet another Caribbean Motor Racing Championships (CMRC) title defence at the Wallerfield International Circuit from March 23 – 24.
The Drag and Endurance Series enter round two in the kite-flying season with the Drags scheduled for April 7 and the other genre of racing unfolds on April 28, both at the South Dakota Circuit.
Jamwest Speedway in Jamaica will then come alive for the CMRC second round on May 26. Round three is billed for the Bushy Park Circuit in Barbados, then the culmination as always takes place at Timehri from November 16-17.
Rally racing will get a chance to make its mark locally when the event unravels on June 23. Round two of the circuit action takes place on July 14, while the second round of International Drag is set for August 25.
The only other two fixtures which remain on the calendar of events are Round 3 for both the Endurance and Drag Series, which will be contested on September 15 and October 6 respectively.
