The Guyana Manufacturing & Services Association (GMSA) on Sunday announced its transition to a new logo and website after the completion of a Re-Design Competition.
Over 40 entries were received from individuals across Guyana and one entry was selected, which the organisation believes best represents the GMSA and where it is heading as the leading manufacturing and services-based business support organisation.
Michael Jackson was awarded the winning prize which comprised of $50,000, one gift certificate for a three-hour soft skills training session provided by ActionINVEST Caribbean Inc and one hamper donated by Sterling Products Limited.
In the new depiction, the GMSA is now

The new logo retained the red colour of the GMSA logo as a signature of the association. The new addition of blue represents confidence and the move which the GMSA is making to push towards meaningful business engagement.
Additionally, the circular ring represents community, unity, and relationships – all of which the GMSA is cognisant are the ideal elements that constitute a sustainable and resilient business community.
Meanwhile, the association’s website was also given a face lift.
“As we transition to our new logo, our core principles of creating an ebullient Guyana remain firm. Our re-brand extends to our website which is user-friendly and allows for meaningful content distribution and engagement,” it said.
The new website will feature direct call to action options, a built in WhatsApp interface, direct uploads for registration and a seamless transition tab to the UncappeD marketplace website. The website is now public and will have ongoing development for further improvements and updates.
