GOAPC to host 8-a-side tape ball tourney today

The Georgetown Office Assistant Promotion Committee (GOAPC) will be staging their end-of-year Inter Ministries/Government Agencies 8-a-side, 6-over knockout bat-your-own-tape- ball cricket competition today at the National Cultural Centre tarmac for 09:00am.
The teams are expected to register on competition day by at least 08:30am, as no late entry would be accepted.
The event is coordinated by James Lewis, and all players are expected to be fully vaccinated, with official proof thereof.
The sponsors on board this event are: Office of the President; Office of the Prime Minister; Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport; Star Party Rentals, Trophy Stall, and GTT. Lewis is extremely grateful to the National COVID-19 Task Force for permission that was granted for the event.
Some of the teams playing are Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Lands& Surveys, GEA, Guyoil, Forestry, EPA, Ministry of Home Affairs, MFA, and Ministry of Agriculture.
Trophies and medals will be up for grabs.
