Sinclair notes that earning a gold medal is testament to all the hard work he has been putting in over the years in regard to body building.
In an interview with this publication, he was asked how it felt to cop gold, and he responded, “Winning the gold at CAC was an overwhelming experience that meant a lot to me, for I have been working for years and years towards this competition. The experience was great.
“Meeting athletes that have been in the game longer than I (have been), and sharing different experiences and knowledge…”
Sinclair explained that, for him, the high point of the competition was when he was able to step on the stage and showcase his ‘A’ game. He divulged that, for 2023, he will definitely be pushing in the overtime and working on his condition, as he seeks to retain his gold medal.
Sinclair has said that once he is able to defend his title, he would receive what every bodybuilder seeks, and that is the coveted PRO card.
Commenting on his training, Sinclair said, “Training for CAC was tough. I actually trained for this with a shoulder injury three weeks out. I took three days off from the gym and did some home therapy, and then I got back onto the weights. But what was challenging was that I had to change the way how I do chest press and overhead press. I had to do some research to know how to work around that shoulder injury, but the training was every day, from Sunday to Sunday. Some days were intense while some were not, but training was good.”
He also relayed that he is proud of the package he portrayed on stage, as he knows how hard it was for him and how strict he had to be with his diet.
Regarding what motivates him, this robust athlete explained that his goal is to always be the best in everything he does, hence motivation for him is easy.
In the closing stages of the interview, Sinclair said, “I would like to thank The Almighty, my family, and all my sponsors for their help towards CAC 2022.”
