Gold for Grant-Stuart at Canada’s Para-Cycling road race

Differently-abled cyclist Walter Grant Stuart delivered a golden performance on Sunday to win the Union Cycliste International (UCI) C1 Para-Cycling event in Montreal, Canada.
It is understood that Grant-Stuart produced a blinder of a performance to finish ahead of riders from more than 15 countries.

He also won the time-trial but, unfortunately, after being the quickest to complete the 17.6 Km event on Saturday, he was relegated to fourth place as the organisers stated that Grant-Stuart has a 100 % stability, and functions. His time for the time-trial was 26 minutes 29.86 seconds, while his time for the road race is still to be announced.
Grant-Stuart lost his right arm in an accident a number of years ago. He rides the standard bicycle, and has mentioned he dreams of representing Guyana at the Paralympics.
