– Leopold Street, Sparta Boss face off tonight

On Saturday night at the Albouystown tarmac, Gold is Money showed their credentials to book a spot in the Georgetown Zone Guinness “Greatest of the Streets” final while Sparta Boss versus Leopold Street’s semi-final was canceled.
When the semi-final stage of the Guinness Greatest of the Streets were played it was the Gold is Money outfit who were left celebrating after pipping Bent Street to book a spot in the final.
It was a closely contested match that needed penalty kicks to decide the winner after full time saw the two teams drawing 1-1.

Tonight’s semi-final will pit defending champions Sparta Boss against Leopold Street at the National Cultural Centre tarmac

Randolph Wagner got Gold is Money off to a flyer netting the opener after just three minutes had elapsed in the game, however Bent Street quickly regained composure and defended well. They even went close to equalizing on a few occasions and were eventually rewarded for their persistence when Travis Lyken stuck one home in the 16th minute.
The score remained deadlocked and the resulting penalty kicks saw Gold is Money holding their nerve to win 2-1 from the spot.
They will have to wait until tonight to know their opponents after the second semi-final between Sparta Boss and Leopold Street was canceled after an attempted robbery on a patron resulted in the fans dispersing. The match will be played today at the National Cultural Center tarmac at 17:00h.
