Guyana’s senior men’s national football team, the Golden Jaguars, will head out onto the park in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic for the second time in the current international window, to take on Belize in the CONCACAF Series.
The CONCACAF Series has been providing teams who are no longer engaged in the FIFA 2026 World Cup Qualifiers with the opportunity to compete in competitive friendly matches.

As such, on the heels of a comfortable 2-0 victory against Dominica on Friday, the Golden Jaguars will be looking to keep their record clean today as they wrap up their participation in the series with a clash against Belize.
Head Coach Thomas Dooley, prior to the commencement of the pair of matches, had shared his expectations for the Belize encounter.
Dooley told Guyana Times Sport, “The second game against Belize will be a little bit more competitive, I think, and that’s another thing, again we want to have a clean sheet and we want to score and win the game.”
“The second game against Belize, that’s a little bit different. We’re also going to play different formations,” the Head Coach went on to share, making a comparison to the formations he intended to use for the Dominica game.
The battle between Guyana and Belize is expected to kick off at 15:00h local time at the Estadio Cibao in Santiago.
