Jamal Goodluck was on Saturday re-elected as President of the Guyana Tennis Association (GLTA) when the sport entity held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) at the National Racquet Centre.
After a budding year at the helm, Goodluck was given the green light to continue at the top of the association by its member clubs.
He returned unopposed along with the other members who formed the executives. Treasure Leroy Chapman was also re-elected to his post.
Grace McCalman will serve as first Vice President, Samuel Barakat as second Vice President, Treasurer Leroy Chapman, Oswin Coggin Secretary and Cristi Campbell Assistant Sec./ Treasurer.
The four committee members are; Robert Bostwick, Fadil Ahmad, Nicholas Glasgow and Nigel Niles.
At the top of Goodluck’s agenda for his second term is to make sure there is a facility that reaches professional standard to host international competition.
Past executive member Ramesh Seecharran was rewarded with life membership within the sport entity for his exemplary commitment developmental initiatives, which continues to be the pillar of the associations’ financial policies.
