GPHC hosts 2nd Annual Research Day

Honourable Dr Frank Anthony, Minister of Health attended the 2nd Annual Research Day activity hosted by the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation (GPHC) Department of Surgery, held Sunday, February 9.
While highlighting the ongoing transformational changes in health care across Guyana, Dr Anthony credited the GPHC’s Surgical Team for their leadership and innovations in advancing surgical care at Guyana’s main referral hospital.
The event saw scores of local surgeons in attendance at the one-day event held at the Pegasus Corporate Suites.
The theme for this years Research Day was ‘Advancing Surgical Excellence: Innovations, Education, and Collaboration for a Healthier Guyana’.
