GTT Tape Ball Tournament
All the boasting and bragging will be thrown in the garbage when the top 17 teams of the GTT Tape Ball Tournament converge at the National Park Tarmac for the coveted honours in the seven a-side event today –final day of action in the GTT Tape Ball Knockout Tournament
There will be one match prior to the commencement of the super 16 round. In that match, Eccles All Star and Queenstown Masjid will battle for the final spot in the final 16.
The champions will be determined from those teams who have survived after the four days of competition, in which more than 100 teams had entered for a shot at the inaugural title.
Following the super 16, the quarter-finals will be played, followed by the semi-finals and the grand finale. The teams making up the 15 that have already qualified for the final day of action are: Doosan Vipes, Enmore Stars, Rising Stars and Modern Media (East Coast); Invaders, Specialist, Rising Star B, South Side, West Dem 08 and Spartans (West Demerara); PSI Legends, Ruimveldt Sports Club, GT Strikers, Outlaws and CJIA B (Georgetown).
Action is scheduled to get underway at 08:30h
