GRC assists 6 families devastated by fire

The Guyana Relief Council (GRC) has assisted six families comprising a total of 30 persons who were affected by fire during the period October to December 2020.
These families are from Region Three (Essequibo Islands-West Demerara) and Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica).
As a charitable Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), the GRC continues to render assistance to persons whose lives are disrupted by any form of disaster – natural or man-made – wherever it occurs throughout the 10 regions of Guyana.
The GRC continues to provide almost 100 per cent coverage for all fires occurring in the country and much-needed assistance to persons irrespective of colour, creed, religious background, or political affiliation.
The NGO has expressed sincere gratitude to a number of sponsors for their continued donations and support throughout the period.
To date, the GRC has also assisted in a number of welfare cases.
