Green Machine climbs world rankings

Guyana’s ‘Green Machine’ are now ranked at 46th in the 15s world, following their 23-18 win over Trinidad and Tobago last weekend.
With winning the South Zone of the Rugby Americas North, the Guyanese national team have moved up seven places to achieve their highest-ever world ranking.

They are also ranked eighth in the Americas up from 10th.
Guyana now await the winners of the North Zone, which will be decided on July 23 between Mexico and the Cayman Islands.
Should Mexico win, Guyana will have to travel to that country to contest the RAN overall title while if the Cayman Islands win, they will have to travel to Guyana.
