The Guyana Rugby Football Union (GRFU) will resume its domestic tournament this Sunday in the National Park.
The resumption will take place with the GRFU Seven’s Men & Women tournament at the National Park Athletics Field.
The one-day tournament will see play commence from 11:30 and features seven teams, namely Caribs, Guyana Defence Force, UG Wolves, Police Flacons and Panthers.
The following Sunday will see action in the Trophy Stall Seven’s where both men and women will be in action at the same time at the same venue.
Both tournaments will conclude the 2016 domestic season with a release from the GRFU saying inclement weather conditions caused many postponements of tournaments, thus causing the season to extend into 2017.
Following that weekend of action, the Bounty Farm 15’s will commence and runs from September 2nd to November 5th at the National Park from 16:00.
Meanwhile, training days for the men and women continues with the males practicing Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays every week from 15:30 to 18:00.
