expected today once the weather remains the same as it was throughout yesterday.
Ground staffs at the three venues which will host matches today, worked tirelessly to ensure play is possible. Prior to the third round only Enmore Community Development Ground was able to have play. However, yesterday staffs at Everest Cricket Club Ground and Enterprise Community Development Centre Ground, were seen preparing the grounds to ensure the games play.
At around 15:00 hrs yesterday afternoon Everest was already set and ready for play today which is scheduled to get underway at 09:35 hrs while at Enterprise a roller was on the outfield compacting the low areas and raising moist to the top of the surface.
So far only two matches have been completed with the others abandoned without a ball bowled. Host Guyana is one of the unfortunate teams yet to play a match along with the Leeward and Windward Islands. Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago won are the only team to register a win so far while Jamaica and Barbados are the only teams that loss.
In today’s encounters Guyana will take on Barbados at Enmore, Jamaica will play Windwards at Everest and Leewards will clash with Trinidad at Enterprise.
