The Guyana Sport Shooting Federation (GSSF) will be hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elections for 2018 on February 16 at the Grand Coastal Hotel, East Coast Demerara.
The association has been making strides over recent years as they continue to push for the growth of the highly fun and skilled sport. As customary, the GSSF like other sport organizations will now look to elect the most suitable persons to fulfill the executive roles associated with the fraternity.
Current President and top-female shooter Vidushi Persaud-Mc Kinnon will not be eligible for presidential candidacy after serving two consecutive terms as head. This automatically results in the GSSF certain about having a new leader for 2018 going forward.
The positions which will be contested for include; President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary/Treasurer, Internal Auditor, Committee Member (Practical Shooting), Committee Member (Steel Challenge), Committee Member (Archery) and Committee Member (Trapshooting).
