The Guyana Sport Shooting Federation (GSSF), P&P Insurance Brokers and Consultants Ltd. Annual Practical Pistol Shoot will blast off on February 17 at the Guyana Defense Force (GDF) Yarrowcabara Ranges.
Early in January, the official sponsorship ceremony took place with Vikash Panday, Director of P&P Insurance handing over the cheque to GSSF Treasurer, Ray Beharry.

With the stage now finalized, shooters will assemble for the GSSF’s first major event of 2018 sponsored by the long-term insurance sponsors. Some 4 Comstock Stages are billed for the one-day event which shoots off at 13:30h.
With a minimum of 50 rounds per shooter, the event will be shot under accordance of the latest United States Practical Shooting Association (USPSA) Handgun Rulebook regulations while the two Divisions recognized for the Shoot will be Production and Limited.
Shooters who come in places one to three will be eligible for the top three while the GSSF have confirmed that Ammunition (PMC Bronze) Ammunition will be available on the range.
Pre-registration for the event can be done online at the GSSF’s official website with the deadline being 13:30hs on Friday February 16, 2018. Pre-Registration fees are $2,500 while late Registration is $3,500.
