Forty-one-year-old Ray Yokum of Lime Street, Werk-en-Rust, Georgetown, was on Tuesday remanded to prison on two counts of narcotics trafficking charges.
Police stated that the defendant was arrested on December 17 by a rank from the Lusignan Police Outpost following the discovery of 40 grams of cocaine and 1255 grams of cannabis in his possession.

He appeared at the Cove and John Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Lambert where both charges were read to him and he pleaded not guilty.
He will make his next court appearance on January 16, 2024.
