The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has sponsored Guyanese middle-distance athlete Rickey Williams to travel to Trinidad and Tobago to participate in the Carifta Games Trial to be held this weekend.

Williams who won GTT’s Pinktober 10K, is hoping to make the qualifying standard time in the 5,000m in an effort to represent Guyana at the March 30 to April 2 games that will take place in the Bahamas.
The presentation was done by the telecommunications giant’s Chief Executive Office, Justin Nedd at the company’s corporate head office on Brickdam, Georgetown.
