GTT launches “Together We Rise” campaign

Telecommunications giant GTT on Monday launched its new brand campaign “Together We Rise”.
During a virtual press conference, the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Justin Nedd informed that the new brand campaign was in no way a corporate message, but rather “…a celebration of who we are and what we can achieve together, and it is an affirmation of how far we have come; and the new horizons that we now envision collectively”. He said with this launch GTT was reaffirming its commitment to uplifting the Guyanese people through its services.
According to the CEO, GTT is Guyanese both in acknowledgement of the progress that it has made in the past, and in recommitting itself to the goal of keeping Guyana world class in telecommunications services.
“I can report to you that GTT is also rising. Our company is working to continue the development of Guyana’s telecoms infrastructure, working to grow our market share, and working to continuously enhance our product and service delivery to our customer,” Nedd noted during the media conference.
“Together we rise, as I stated earlier, is more than a slogan. It is a call to action built on four pillars, which will positively influence GTT’s product and service delivery. Those four pillars will shortly be outlined for you in greater depth, but suffice to say that with the support of GTT’s management and staff and our continuing commitment to our customers, together we – GTT, Guyana and the Guyanese people – will rise: stronger, smarter, faster, and further. We invite you to join us on this fresh journey, starting today.”
GTT believes that the new campaign launch is important for the future success of Guyana. Nedd noted that Guyana was a diverse melting pot of people from a variety of ethnic, social, and economic backgrounds coming together as one. He boasted that GTT, as the leading telecoms service provider, was arguably the single most unifying company in the country.
“We have served generations; we too are Guyanese – and our professionals are a strong representation of the people of Guyana. While we are focused on providing a world-class telecommunications infrastructure for the benefit of all Guyanese, our mission also encompasses bringing Guyanese together – here and within the Diaspora – and being a force for building bridges and unity amongst our populace,” Nedd added.
He reminded that unity and togetherness were great contributors to stability in business and in our everyday lives, and we could not overstate the importance of a stable Guyana. In that regard, he said that GTT believed that with a renewed focus on unity and stability, Guyana was rising.
“Despite the pandemic, we have good reason to look forward to a bright future, with increasingly better job and business opportunities arising from inward investment and innovation across sectors of the economy – because challenges present opportunities – and we are a resilient people,” the CEO noted.
