The Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has thrown its support behind the University of Guyana’s (UG) 12th annual and first ever virtual career fair which is being held over the weekend.
The telephone company noted that it is proud to attend the event as the University explores new ways to connect students to potential employers, job and internship opportunities.
GTT’s Director of Human Resources, Tiana Gurcharran applauded the institution for its initiative to host its career fair virtually, in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“GTT is fully vested in continuing its support to the Guyanese job market by not only providing good employment opportunities for the public, but a career development path. With our promise to strengthen the community and innovate for all our country, we are looking to hire the best for our team to achieve these and hope to see many applications flood our HR Department with the right talent,” she said.
Today, the GTT team will shed more light on employment opportunities at the fair during its webinar session this morning.
“The Human Resources (HR) team is prepped and anxiously looking forward to the many connections this virtual career fair will afford us,” Gurcharran explained.
