GTT wraps up the Top Up and Win Promotion

Following three months of promotions, GTT on Tuesday brought the curtains down on its Top Up and Win Promotion, which was executed in three different phases.
This initiative, which coincides with the company’s “Do More” campaign, saw a total of nine lucky customers cashing in on highly coveted prizes.
As part of the final leg of the promotion, three loyal consumers were on Tuesday presented with their prizes after emerging successful in the Father’s Day phase of the campaign. Walking away with the feature prize was George Mc Intosh, of Bartica Housing Scheme, who is set to journey to Jamaica to enjoy an all-expenses paid trip for two to the beautiful Riu Ocho Rios, Mammee Bay Estate Resort.

Also being showered with eye-catching prizes at the presentation ceremony on the Tuesday were Nayna Champaneriya of Campbellville, Georgetown, and Roxanne Burnett of Zeelugt North Housing Scheme, East Bank Essequibo, who were each awarded a Samsung Galaxy S8 valued $239,000 as part of GTT’s appreciation for their continuous support.
Speaking at the handing-over ceremony was the company’s Public Relations Officer, Nadia De Abreu, who said “GTT continues to find ways to Do More for customers.”
‘This promotion not only offered our customers an opportunity to upgrade to the latest handsets, but together with Fly Jamaica Airways we have six happy customers taking along someone special on an all-inclusive trip to Jamaica for four days and three nights,” De Abreu explained.
Also addressing the gathering was Fly Jamaica Airlines Commercial Manager Carl Bowen, who expressed delight over the collaboration between the two entities in giving back to Guyanese.
While expressing their delight in being winners in the GTT Top Up and Win Promotion, the three lucky customers all thanked the telecommunications company for its investment in giving back to consumers. “I’m feeling very nervous and excited at the same time. I would just like to thanks for staying true to the motto of doing more and giving more,” conveyed the winner of the trip to Jamaica.
The GTT Top Up and Win Promotion encouraged valued customers to recharge their mobile accounts, with each top-up of $1000 giving them a chance to enter the grand lottery.
The Promotion was initiated in April and served as GTT’s Easter promotion which was closely followed by the Mother’s Day leg of the campaign, and eventually wrapped up with the Father’s Day promotion, three months later. This final leg of the competition ran from May 21 to June 19, 2017.
During the course of the campaign, six lucky customers were upgraded with brand new Samsung Galaxy handsets, compliments of GTT, while three loyal account holders were rewarded with the grand prize of a trip to Jamaica, as a result of the company’s partnership with the Guyana-based airline.
