Gunman, female accomplice rob businessman

A 41-year-old businessman is now left traumatised after he was robbed by a man who he employed to clean his coconut trees on Tuesday.
Shawn Ramai was in his Lot 8 Hadfield Street, Lodge, home when he was attacked by the man, who was armed with a handgun and a woman at about 22:00h.
Ramai had employed the man earlier that day, at about 12:00h to cut branches from his coconut three.
However, at 22:00h, Ramai heard a knock at his door and upon checking, he saw the man and a woman outside, and as such, opened his door.
He was immediately attacked and taken inside where he was relieved of $65,000, a gold ring valued $50,000 and a BLU cellphone value $4000.
The bottom flat of his premises was ransacked before the two perpetrators made good their escape.
The matter was reported to the Police. An investigation has been launched. However, no arrest has been made.
