Gunman nabbed after injuring self in robbery

A 22-year-old robbery suspect is currently seeking medical attention under Police guard after he injured himself while committing a second robbery.
According to Police information, the first robbery occurred on Monday and CCTV footage from a nearby building captured the entire ordeal.

The bandits caught on camera during a robbery

The victim, an Albuoystown resident, was seen riding his motorcycle when two men rode up alongside him and pushed him off his bike.
The man laid on the ground as the pillion rider jumped off the motorcycle and took his bag while brandishing a firearm. The duo then made their escape moments later.
Police said they received information that the suspects attempted the “same stunt” after the first robbery, but they fell off the motorcycle while committing the act. As a result, the gunman sustained serious injuries and is seeking treatment at the Georgetown Public Hospital under Police guard.
His accomplice, a resident of East Ruimveldt, Georgetown, escaped from the scene and is currently being pursued by law enforcement. Police are continuing their investigation.
