Two guns, along with matching ammunition and marijuana, were found by ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit at Agricola on Monday.

According to CANU, officers were conducting an operation between Third and Fourth streets in Agricola, East Bank Demerara when they stumbled upon one .45 ACP pistol with nine matching rounds, a 12-gauge shotgun with one cartridge, and a quantity of leaves, seeds and stems suspected to be marijuana.

The find was taken to CANU Headquarters, where the narcotic was weighed and amounted to 162 grams.
An investigation has been launched.
