Guyana Cycling Federation’s AGM delayed for few months

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Guyana Cycling Federation (GCF) has been delayed for a few months and will be convened according to the Federation.
This meeting was slated for August 13 at 15:00h at Guyana Olympic Association Office Building, Block XXX Liliendall, East Coast Demerara.
In a notice sent to its members, each eligible member is entitled to send not more than two delegates of which one would be entitled to vote.
The notice further stated that in order for any of the GCF clubs to sit in the AGM and have a vote, they must be in good standing. Resolution (s) must be submitted to the Federation through the General Secretary at least 14 days before the AGM.
High on the agenda would be the election of office bearers for the next four years, apart from Report of the Federation (2015 – 2019) and the Audited Financial Statements (2011 – 2019), among other items.
The last GCF elections were in 2015, where Horace Burrowes was elected President and Paul Choo-wee-nam was elected first Vice-President. Andrew Arjoon was second Vice-President, while Jerome Allicock was elected third Vice-President in the 2015 elections.
