Guyana Jaguars hold fitness session

Weeks after lifting the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) Professional Cricket League (PCL) Four-day title for the second year in succession, the Guyana Jaguars re-assembled on Tuesday for a fitness session at the Georgetown Cricket Club (GCC) ground, Bourda.
Under the watchful eyes of Head Coach, Esaun Crandon, the players were put through their paces as the management staff sought to test their level of fitness.

Crandon said the intention of the session was to ensure players maintain a high level of fitness during the off-season. It will also serve to keep players fit and ready ahead of the Caribbean Premier League, as well as possible selection to the West Indies senior team later this year.
Crandon said he was relatively satisfied with what transpired at the session, noting that more players have shown better numbers from the last test.
Late last month, the Guyana Jaguars triumphantly retained the title they won when the PCL was launched the previous year.
