Guyana lists 13 for CMRC T&T encounter

A strong group of drivers and riders has been confirmed to represent Guyana at the second leg of the Caribbean Motor Racing Championship at Wallerfield Raceway in Trinidad and Tobago.
The June 24 event will bring together rivalry from Guyana, Barbados, Jamaica and the host nation.

Andrew King

The experienced duo Andrew King and Mark Vieira will lock horns with the Group Four competitors, along with Guyana Motor Racing and Sports Club president Rameez Mohamed and Danny Persaud. King is the reigning Group Four (2WD) champion.
Mohamed is also slated to compete in Groups Two and Three, while Persaud will also do battle in Group Three.
Reigning local Group Three champion Vishok Persaud will lead Guyana’s challenge in that category, along with Mohamed, Danny Persaud, Motilall Deodass, Haniff Mohamed and Rafeeq Khan.
Khan and Haniff Mohamed are also down to compete in Group Two.
Other drivers confirmed are CMRC newcomer Sharima Khan (Groups One and Two) and Shan Seejatan (Group Two). Representing Guyana in the Bikes category are Matthew Vieira, Paul Yearwood and Matt Truelove.
