Guyana records 94th COVID-19 death

The Ministry of Health has announced that Guyana recorded its 94th COVID-19 related death as of October 02, 2020.

The latest victim is a 67-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara – Mahaica). He died while receiving medical treatment.

Officials of the Ministry have contacted all relatives and persons to facilitate contact tracing and rapid assistance to everyone who may have been exposed to the now-deceased persons.

Just yesterday, Guyana recorded three deaths as a result of COVID-19.

Those who died on Monday are a 38-year-old man from Region Four (Demerara-Mahaica); an 84-year-old female also of Region Four and retired nurse, 55-year-old Mark King. King was also a resident of Region Four. They were all receiving medical attention at the Georgetown Public Hospital.
