Guyana Rifle Team off to a solid start

The Guyana National Rifle Team opened day one of the 2018 West Indies Full-bore Shooting Championships (WIFBSC) with stellar performances from three of its veteran marksmen.
The Paragon Ranges in Barbados were officially open for business on Monday where the Guyanese trio of Ransford Goodluck, Lennox Braithwaite and Sherwin Felicien made an excellent start to the individual leg of the competition.

In the X category which comprises of the best shooters, the veteran Goodluck ended day with an aggregate of 131.11, followed by Brathwaite with 130.10 and Felicien130.8; heading into day two.
In the O-Class, Peter Persaud is ahead of the US-based Guyanese duo of Sigmond Douglas and John Fraser. The competition continues with the 500, 600 and 1000 yards ranges, followed by the team shoot on Friday.
