Guyana-Suriname relations: ‘White Paper’ on urgent matters handed over to Suriname’s President

The Guyana-Suriname Private Sector Business Council on Friday met with President of Suriname, Chandrikapersad Santokhi, to officially hand over a white paper detailing specific issues in need of attention between the two countries.
The meeting was chaired by Chairman of the Business Council, Paul Cheong, who is also the chair of Guyana’s Private Sector Commission; and included immediate past Chairman, Bryan Renten, council members and representatives of the Private Sector Commission of Guyana.
Joining President Santokhi at the engagement was Suriname’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Business and International Cooperation, Albert Ramdin.
