The Guyana Badminton Association’s Four-Member Junior Team is expected to open their campaign today at the Caribbean Juniors Championships (CAREBACO) in Aruba.

The event, which is scheduled from August 18 to the 25, is divided into three tournaments, namely CAREBACO Under-19 International (Open for all International Players) which runs from August 18-21. CAREBACO Under-19 Team Championships (Open only to CAREBACO Members) running from August 22-24. And CAREBACO Under-15 & Under-19 Championships (Open only to CAREBACO Members) slated for August 24-25.
SUNBURST and Junior Sportsman of the Year, Narayan Ramdhani, is among the Guyanese contingents in the Under-19 International Events playing in Singles and seeded No 1. He will collaborate for the doubles with Jonathan Mangra where they both seeded No 2 and Mix Doubles with Priyanna Ramdhani. Priyanna and Jonathan will also play in the Singles events.
In the Team and Individual Under-19 Championships are Narayan Ramdhani, Jonathan Mangra, Priyanna Ramdhani and Ambika Ramraj will all play in the Singles, Doubles and Mix Doubles Events. Priyanna Ramdhani will also play in the Under-15 Championships.
The Team is expected to do well and aims to return with medals for the 6th year.
