Guyanese doubles teams into the finals

Caribbean Badminton International Championships

The Guyanese players competing at the Caribbean Badminton International Championships (CAREBACO) currently playing in Aruba is into two finals. In the Mix Doubles, Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani will look to claim the top title while in the Boys Doubles, Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangra will look to create a similar feat.

In the Boys and Girls Singles both Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani lost in the Semi-Finals and settled for Bronze Medals.
In the Boys Singles, Guyana’s number one Seeded player, Narayan Ramdhani, battled the Dominican Republic’s number three Seeded player Cesar Adonis Brito Gonzalez. The Dominican took the first game at 21-18. Narayan then came back in the second game to win 19-21. Gonzalez then sealed his spot in the final game at 21-11.
The Girls Singles saw Guyanese Priyanna Ramdhani versus Amanda Yearwood of Barbados. The Barbadian took the first game at 21-14. Priyanna then took the second game at 13-21 and then lost the final game at 21-13.
Boys Doubles- Narayan Ramdhani and Jonathan Mangra defeated Jade Allman and Joshua Smith of Trinidad and Tobago in the semi-finals in two straight sets; 21-11 and 21-18 to reach the finals.
Mix Doubles- Narayan Ramdhani and Priyanna Ramdhani defeated Renaldo Sinanan and Jade Renales (Trinidad) 21-8, 21-7 to reach the finals.
